Back in the 90s, I wrote 6,000 words for the Village Voice on the Republic of Nauru - which was roughly two words for each inhabitant of the world's third smallest state. As I explained to the editor, I was hoping to do a follow up on the PRC on the same basis, at a dollar a word!

John Cleese seems to be supporting Reform. Is it Alzheimer's, or a convoluted satirical skit as he lambasts immigrants from his home on the Caribbean?

Erudite critics of DJT's speech to the WHCA commented that his dissing of his own tele scripting team broke the "fourth wall." 'Tis a great accomplishment. From the rest of the speech, those walls are padded!

Tough Call - Infantino or Incitatus?
SG INCITATUS VIVAT!
There are rumors that Trump wants Infantino of FIFA, possibly the world most detested person after himself, to be UN Secretary General for his services to groveling, and perhaps in hopes of getting a UN Peace Prize. The Emperor Caligula reportedly nominated his favorite racehorse, Incitatus, to be a Senator, and of course the fawning Roman Senators - who are the very model for their modern avatars on Capitol Hill in Washington - went along with it.
